At Riverside Cafe, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect information when you visit this website, place an online order or contact us about breakfast, lunch or other offerings.
1. Information We Collect
When you use this website, place an order or contact us, we may collect information such as:
- Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number and preferred way to reach you
- Order Information: Items ordered, pickup or delivery details and order history when you order online
- Communication Content: Messages, notes or other details you choose to send through forms, email, phone or social media
- Technical Information: Basic website usage information such as browser type, device data, IP address and page activity collected through standard website tools
Online ordering and payment are handled by a third-party ordering platform. Any payment card details you enter are collected and processed directly by that provider — Riverside Cafe does not receive or store your card numbers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We may use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your questions and requests
- Prepare and fulfill pickup or delivery orders
- Communicate with you about an order or inquiry
- Maintain records related to orders and customer service
- Improve website performance, site usability and overall customer experience
- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, safety or recordkeeping obligations
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only when reasonably necessary, including:
- Service Providers: With trusted third parties who help operate the website, process online orders and payments, host systems or support communications
- Delivery Partners: With delivery services when needed to complete a delivery order you place
- Legal Requirements: When disclosure is required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order or government request
- Business Protection: When necessary to protect our rights, property, safety or the safety of customers, employees or the public
- With Your Direction: When you ask us to share information with another person or service provider on your behalf
4. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you provide, including administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse or loss.
No internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Cookies and Website Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 for basic website measurement. It helps us understand visits, page views, traffic sources, entry pages, approximate city or country, browser and device categories, and selected interactions with business links such as online ordering, phone, menu and directions links. The Google tag may set a first-party client identifier cookie and sends measurement data, including page information, to Google. Google states that an IP address is used during collection to derive approximate location and is discarded before it is logged.
We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, form answers or other visitor-entered content to Google Analytics. Named click events use controlled labels and page paths without query strings; they do not send the selected phone number, email address, link text or link destination. A recorded click does not prove a completed call, online order, delivery or sale.
Our current Analytics configuration is for basic reporting, not ecommerce tracking, remarketing, Google Signals or personalized advertising. Before enabling those additional uses, we will review this policy and add an appropriate sitewide consent mechanism. EzPz Central retrieves and presents Google Analytics reports for Riverside Cafe; it does not create the underlying Google activity.
You can limit or delete cookies through your browser settings, although doing so can reduce the completeness of Analytics reporting. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we have about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information

7. Retention of Information
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, fulfill orders, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Different categories of information may be retained for different periods depending on the nature of the order, inquiry or applicable legal requirement.
8. Third-Party Websites
This website may contain links to third party websites, including online ordering platforms, mapping tools, social media or review platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third party websites. We encourage you to review their policies separately.
